Ok let's start with jumping shall we? I've been jumping Jazz for about a year now. I had to train him myself with some help of my friend Kerry who's been jumping horses her whole life. I did lots of poles and gridwork with him and after a few months we were jumping 3 feet. He's an awesome little jumper always ready to give his 101 %. We can jump a 3 feet spread bareback now and he's so good and responds really well to my seat and legs. He's great in a snaffle and a/p saddle and looks great with his matching navy pad and polos :) In shows I just put his numnah on. Ok for western his color is lime green hehe :) I've been competing him in barrels for a while now and he's done awesome winning me a lot of 1rsth's and he's also very good in poles winning me a 3rd at the Napan fair and lots of 1rsth's in other shows. This little horse is really fast and can get excitted when galloping but he's very controllable and responsive to hands/seat/ legs :) (I've been working on that for 2 years!) In western I usually put his shank on but not for more control. He's got a very soft mouth and i like the shank because I just need to slightly lift my hands and he stops or slows down. he has 3 very confortable gaits that I've been working on a lot with him and will stop when you sit back and say woah (no hands needed :P) He side passes (still working on it though), turn on the forehand perfectly and we're working on turn on the haunches. He excels at anything I ask of him and he's a real sweetheart only wanting to please.
This horse has never refused a jump!
